These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Star Movers Houston website and the moving services we provide. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Star Movers Houston provides local and long-distance moving, residential and commercial relocation, packing, loading, unloading, and labor services in the Greater Houston, Texas area and statewide.
All services are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing (via email or text) before they are considered officially booked.
All quotes provided by Star Movers Houston are estimates based on information provided by the customer at the time of inquiry. Final pricing may vary based on:
We will notify you of any significant price changes before proceeding with additional services.
To confirm a moving date, a deposit may be required. This deposit is applied toward your final balance. Deposits are non-refundable if a cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the scheduled move. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.

If prohibited items are discovered during a move, we reserve the right to refuse transport of those items without liability or refund for that portion of the service.
Star Movers Houston carries the required state liability coverage for moving operations in Texas. Our standard liability coverage is based on the weight of your items per Texas state regulations.

Recommendation: For high-value items, we strongly recommend purchasing additional third-party moving insurance. Ask us for guidance.
While we make every effort to arrive at the agreed time, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, prior job overruns, or other circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible if a delay is anticipated. We are not liable for any losses, costs, or damages resulting from delays outside our reasonable control.
Any damage claims must be reported to us within 24 hours of the completion of your move. Claims submitted after this period may not be honored. To file a claim, contact us at info@starmovershouston.com with photos and a written description of the damage.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept:
A receipt will be provided for all payments. Unpaid balances may be subject to collection procedures.
By messaging us through WhatsApp, you consent to receive communications related to your quote or service booking via the WhatsApp platform. We do not use WhatsApp for unsolicited marketing messages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Harris County, Texas.

At Star Movers Houston, we understand that plans change. This policy explains your options if you need to cancel, reschedule, or dispute a charge related to your moving service.

To cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible by:
Important: Cancellations must be confirmed in writing (email, text, or WhatsApp message) to be valid and to initiate the refund process. Verbal cancellations alone are not sufficient.
We understand that life happens. If you need to change your moving date, we will do our best to accommodate you at no additional charge, subject to crew and truck availability, provided you notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
Rescheduling within 48 hours of your scheduled move may incur a rescheduling fee of up to $75, depending on crew scheduling impact and demand.
If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of our service on your moving day, please notify our crew leader immediately so we can address the issue on the spot — this is always the fastest resolution.
Post-move service complaints must be submitted within 24 hours of job completion to info@starmovershouston.com, and must include:
We will review all claims within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Partial refunds may be issued at our discretion for verified service failures, including items damaged by our crew during the move (subject to our liability limits in the Terms & Conditions).
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
In the event of extreme weather (hurricane, severe flooding, or declared state of emergency) affecting the Houston area, we will work with you to reschedule at no penalty. If rescheduling is not possible due to the circumstances, a full refund of your deposit will be issued within 5–7 business days.
